The items, which will be sold, and their related information must be filled correctly into the sales order lines.
Please fill all relevant fields under Shipment Method. In particular, four fields, which include "Code", "Agent", "Agent Service" and "Shipment Date", are relevant for the creation of shipping labels. The field "Code" must be filled with a corresponding Incoterm, only if items will be shipped to a customer from a country outside the EU. Otherwise, please leave it empty. In the field "Agent", a shipping agent, which will be contracted to deliver the items of the current sales order, must be chosen. In the field "Agent Service", a product of the chosen shipping agent must be chosen. In addition, the user must also define the shipment date. Attention: - All four fields are compulsory. Incomplete or missing information will lead to an error message. - BE-terna Shipping Label only uses the shipment date under Shipment Method in the requests. The shipment date in the sales order line will not be used in the requests.
After the user has finished filling out the sales order, he needs to navigate to the list of sales orders. The user must then click the "Functions" under the "Action" on the menu to find the "Create Shipping Label". After he clicks "Create Shipping Label", the shipping label will be generated.
The shipping agent allocates a tracking number to each created shipping label automatically. The system will update the field "Package Tracking No." under "Shipment Method" on the sales order automatically after the shipping label is created successfully.
