Sub-process 4 - Add Package Types

Purpose

For each delivery, BC must inform DHL Freight, which DHL Freight package type will be used, although this information will not be printed on the shipping label. This information is for DHL Freight´s internal management. Without this information, requests from BC cannot be accepted and processed by DHL Freight. The Package Type page is used to add package types

How to enter a new package type

(1) Add a new package type line (2) Enable editing (3) Delete a package type line (4) Import a package type list from the local computer (5) Fill in the (Package) Type Code (6) Fill in the description for the Type Code

Attention

• Please only use the product types that are provided by DHL Freight.
• If DHL Freight has updated its product types, the users must update their setups accordingly.
