Sub-process 2 - Define Properties

Purpose

Although the information on package weight, maximal package length, maximal girth, etc. will not be printed on the shipping label, GLS requires this information for their planning. Therefore, BC must provide information on package weight so that API requests from BC can be accepted and processed by GLS. If this information is incomplete or missing, it will lead up to an error message during API requests and the shipping label cannot be printed.

How to define properties

Option 1

If the height, width, length, and weight have already been defined in the item attributes (see Master Data Preparation), only one step is left: Fill the rest of the fields under Properties.
