Sub-process 4 - Shipping Label Request Logs

Purpose

The detailed information in the field Request and Response, which is provided by the API of the corresponding shipping agent, supports troubleshooting in case the request is unsuccessful.

Functionalities

(1) This button opens the Request Parameters page (Sub-process 5). (2) This button opens the Request Shipping Labels page (Sub-process 6).

• Please note that this button will only work if the request is successful and a shipping label is created.

(3) This field displays the entry no.

• The entry no. will only be given by the system once automatically. The used no. will not be repeated.

(4) This checkbox shows whether the request has an error. (5) This field describes the error.

• Usually, the specific error descriptions are displayed in the field Response (see point (16)). However, if a request cannot be sent because of a problem with the internet connection, this type of error will be displayed in the field Error Text.

(6) This field displays which type of shipping label is requested. (7) This checkbox displays whether the request is sent successfully. (8) This field displays the date and the time of the request.
(9) This field displays where the selected request comes from. (10) This field displays the user who has sent the selected request. (11) This field displays the HTTP Method. (12) This field displays a user name required for sending the selected request. (13) This field displays a password is required for sending the selected request. (14) This field displays the URL that is used for sending the request. (15) This field displays the contents of the request. This information is used for troubleshooting. (16) This field displays the API response from the shipping agent. This information is used for troubleshooting. (17) This field displays the HTTP status.
